Ukraine Opens New Airport Terminal

Boryspil International Airport in Kiev, Ukraine, has opened its new terminal F in order to handle an expected increase in passenger traffic during the upcoming Euro 2012 football championship.

The new 20,686m² terminal is designated as the official terminal for Ukraine International Airlines.

Boryspil Airport can accommodate 900 passengers per hour in arrivals and departures, while at maximum capacity it can handle up to 1,500 passengers in departures.

The airport will be able to handle 6,000 passengers per hour during Euro 2012.

The airport is building another terminal (D), which is expected to be complete by September 2011.
