France-based Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has signed ground handling contracts with 12 airlines in North America as the aviation sector’s rebound from the pandemic accelerates.

The duration of all the contracts will last for three years.

WFS has been appointed by VivaAerobús for complete handling services, with flight frequency increasing by five times its previous schedule, at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

Currently, WFS is offering ramp handling services to Emirates Airline’s 250 flights annually from DFW to Dubai.

At the same airport, Qatar Airways selected WFS to provide ground handling services for its 520 flights a year to Doha.

Besides, Frontier Airlines teamed up with WFS to receive support for its start-up operation in the Virgin Islands and for services in Wilmington Airport (ILM) in Delaware.
