Dominican Republic’s Aerodom, a subsidiary of VINCI Airports, has entered into an agreement with the Dominican laboratory Amadita to set up screening laboratories in its six airports.

The new laboratories will provide services to all passengers, pilots, cabin crews and airport staff.

The first laboratory will be installed at Las Américas Airport in Santo Domingo.

The company said that Las Américas will be the first airport in the Caribbean to have such a laboratory.

VINCI Airports has been undertaking essential health measures as part of the international ‘Protecting Each Other’ campaign at all of its airports.

The campaign has been created on the basis of health recommendations announced by the World Health Organization or agencies of the United Nations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
