The Port of Seattle has announced updates on the current modernisation of Seattle-Tacoma International (Sea-Tac) Airport’s Central Terminal.

Under the $17m upgrade project, the airport will add 10,000ft² of dining and seating space along with ADA accessibility improvements to better serve travellers.

The new modernised Central Terminal is expected to partially re-open by next year. Additionally, five restaurants will open on the south side of the terminal.

The restaurants include Pei Wei Asian Diner, Lucky Louie, Pallino’s, Evergreens, and Koi Shi Sushi Bento.

Sea-Tac Airport managing director Lance Lyttle said: “From amazing views to Pacific Northwest menus, our renovated Central Terminal takes the passenger experience to the next level.
