Off-airport parking company The Parking Spot has opened its new, energy-efficient facility located directly adjacent to the Salt Lake City International Airport in Utah, US.

Near-airport parking is currently available for the introductory price of $5 per day with the option to reserve the slot in advance. The new facility can accommodate 2,000 cars.

The Parking Spot provides convenient shuttle services that make travelling to and from the airport fast and easy. Shuttle drivers pick up travellers at their vehicles, help them to manage their baggage and drop them off at the terminal doors.

The company is also offering its free mobile app to help guests enter and exit the facility, to reserve their seat, track their shuttles and sign up for the Spot Club loyalty programme to earn travel perks and rewards.

Fitted with electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, the new parking facility has been equipped with suitable infrastructure to accommodate hybrid vehicles.

The new facility is The Parking Spot’s first in Utah and will add more than 30 jobs to the Salt Lake City area.
