Singapore-based integrated engineering group ST Engineering’s aerospace arm ST Aerospace has won S$410m ($293m) worth of contracts in the third quarter (3Q) of the year, across several projects.

The orders include airframe and component maintenance, engine washing and pilot training.

Under the 3Q2015 contract, ST Aerospace will maintain heavy airframes for various Boeing 777-300s and Airbus A319 / A321 aircraft belonging to a US airline.

It will also perform a cabin interior modification for another US carrier’s fleet of A319s.

As a company first, ST Aerospace has secured a landing gear input contract from a Chinese airline, and an engine component repair contract from a major East Asian airline.

The company received landing gear overhaul and exchange contracts for several Boeing 737NGs, and East Asia and Oceania airline operators.

From regional helicopter operators, ST Aerospace confirmed agreements for Super Puma transmission components repairs.

The contract also includes a six-year extension for component maintenance by-the-hour support for a fleet of Q400s belonging to an EMEA airline.

Additionally, the company’s Hondo facility has been awarded an aircraft part-out contract for two 757-200s.

ST Aerospace has also signed several contracts with Asia Pacific and US operators for EcoPower engine wash services.

Its pilot training academy has entered into a two-year training contract with an Asian airline to provide dry and wet simulator training solutions to its pilots.

In the third quarter of this year, ST Aerospace the redelivered 349 aircraft after airframe maintenance and modification work.

Moreover, for both of its commercial and military customers, ST Aerospace conducted 1,335 engine washes and processed 11,618 components, 41 landing gears and 45 engines.

The company’s Singapore-based airframe facility has started line maintenance for Boeing 787 fleet, and Dresden-based airframe MRO joint venture received its first A380 for heavy maintenance.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore has granted SAR-21 design organisation approval to ST Aerospace’s aircraft seating
systems.
