Delta Air Lines is set to launch a new service between Orlando International Airport in the US and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the Netherlands from March 2018.

The new service will directly connect Central Florida to the Netherlands and also offers a range of other convenient connections into Europe.

Delta Air Lines Trans-Atlantic senior vice-president Dwight James said: “Our new flight will be the only daily non-stop service between Orlando and Amsterdam improving access between these cities.

“Not only are we enabling customers’ easy access to Florida’s main attractions, but our partnership with Air France, KLM and Alitalia makes connecting throughout Europe easy and convenient via our Amsterdam hub.”

The new route between the two airports will be operated by Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, featuring Delta One, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin seating.

Equipped with a Wi-Fi connection, every seat will also have a personal, in-flight seatback entertainment screen in addition to power ports.
