Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) in the UK has announced an investment of £10m ($13.1m) in its terminal redevelopment project.
The terminal investment programme is part of the operator’s commitment to enhance the customer experience.

Based on passenger feedback, the renovations will include upgrades to and new installations of airport facilities, including the expansion of DSA’s retail, food and beverage offering, and the installation of new gate bridges.
The arrivals hall and security search area will also be expanded.
Most of these improvements have been proposed by passengers and are planned to be completed mid-2021.
DSA chairman Robert Hough said: “Doncaster Sheffield Airport already boasts a modern purpose-built terminal building facility involving over £100m ($131m) of investment just fifteen years ago.

The proposed development is crucial for the airport’s 20-year Masterplan.
In addition, the airport management expects the plans to generate 33,000 gross jobs over the next ten years.
Of the total, 10,000 jobs related to engineering, manufacturing aviation, energy and construction are likely to be created in the next five years.
