Air Canada has opened its newest Maple Leaf Lounge in the Terminal B Eastern Concourse at LaGuardia Airport in the US.

Terminal B is operated by LaGuardia Gateway Partners.

The new lounge is located after security just some steps from Air Canada gates 49, 50 and 51. It features amenities such as a self-serve bar and business centre.

Business travellers planning to work on site may use a cyber counter equipped with PCs and colour printing, complimentary Wi-Fi. Additionally, they can access more than 7,000 digital newspaper and magazine content through the PressReader app.

Air Canada product vice-president Andrew Yiu said: “We are excited to welcome Air Canada and Star Alliance eligible customers to our new LaGuardia Airport Maple Leaf Lounge, which has been created to enhance the overall travel experience for our premium customers.

“Air Canada offers eligible customers access to 23 Maple Leaf Lounges worldwide, including 17 at Canadian airports.”

“Showcasing contemporary design and artwork, the lounge is decorated with maple wood screen walls, Canadian-made furnishings, yet it also reflects the unique character that is New York City.”

The new LaGuardia Maple Leaf Lounge, spanning across 7,015ft², has a seating capacity for up to 126 passengers. It combines Canadian design and art and will be open seven days a week.

Air Canada offers eligible customers access to 23 Maple Leaf Lounges worldwide, including 17 at Canadian airports. This is in addition to lounges at New York-Newark, Los Angeles, London Heathrow, Frankfurt and Paris, with one in San Francisco scheduled to open next year.
