Integrated airport solutions
The Safegate Group offers a complete range of airport solutions at the gate, airfield and tower for increased safety, efficiency and environmental benefits to airports worldwide.
Gate docking and apron management solutions
Safegate Group’s Safedock® A-VDGS solution reduces congestion and the number of personnel on the ramp. It performs an aircraft type safety check, scans the apron for vehicles or other objects, verifies the position of the passenger boarding bridge (PBB) and prevents incompatible aircraft from parking at adjacent gates. This reduces costs and ensures a higher return on investment.
Safegate Group has also developed a new software concept, SafeControl – Apron Management, which reduces costs and damage risks, as well as shortens turnaround times, while improving efficiency, productivity and safety.
Airfield lighting and monitoring systems
Safegate Group has more than 50 years of experience installing airfield lighting at more than 1,000 airports worldwide. The company offers the right modern lighting solutions combined with the knowledge to solve runway incursions, limited throughput and maintenance challenges.
The SafeLED IQ product range is an advanced lamp fitting built in one solid, well-designed unit, allowing clients to centrally monitor and control LED applications without any additional hardware, ensuring high availability, increased power savings and superior cost-efficiency.
Safegate’s ASP-SafeControl is an integrated individual lighting control and monitoring system (ILCMS), which is designed to improve efficiency and safety of airport ground operations.
Air traffic control solutions
Safegate’s acquisition of leading air traffic control (ATC) solutions provider AviBit in 2010 enables the company to supply tools to improve airport and airspace operations, ranging from the design and development of software applications for ATC towers and system integration.
Air Traffic Expansion – ATX
Safegate helps clients link the different parts of the airport closer together and makes sure the airfield, gate and tower systems – and people – work better together. Clients get more efficient and safer daily operations, minimizing human error and increasing capacity all from one vendor.
