Automated meteorological systems for airports and helipads
Our meteorological system suite contains automatic and semi-automatic weather operation systems (AWOS) for aviation purposes in airports and on helipads.
The AWOS can be equipped with a fully automatic terminal information service (ATIS) option for continuous broadcast of meteorological data from MET report, as well as other important information for pilots.
The AWOS has a unique observation principle, and the content of each report transmitted is derived from a central meteorological observation concept. Weather observers can edit the meteorological information at a central location, making the changed data valid in every report, rather than changing each report individually.
This unique observation principle even carries over to the automatic mode configuration, where the translation to the automatic MET / METAR / SPECI reports is completed independently.
Complete control and monitoring of air traffic equipment
The remote control and monitoring system (RCMS) gives air traffic control (ATC) full and comprehensive operation of all airside equipment (NAVIADS, runway lights, taxiway lights and stop bars). The control can either be of individual pieces of equipment, or via combined presets of multiple groups.
The RCMS includes advanced technical and performance monitoring features, which provide technical staff with real-time error and event logging. It also allows the technical staff access to a powerful tool to monitor all relevant technical ground equipment in the airport, and reduces the equipment mean-time to repair (MTTR), and documents the performance of the technical equipment.
The RCMS Operational Statistics module documents all changes of state, as well as all events and selected parameters measured on the equipment. Derived statistics and performance information is presented in a graphical or tabular format.
The system automatically calculates standard performance parameters such as mean-time between outages (MTBO), mean-time between failures (MTBF) and MTTR.
Financial revenue calculation and distribution of flight plans
The statistics, economics, en-route charges information system (SERIS) calculates financial revenue based on multiple data sources, radar data, flight plans, and online data interchanges (OLDI) / flight message transfer protocols (FMTP).

The FMTP Gateway offers a flexible, safe and easy way to configure systems, connecting up to 16 OLDI partners with different interface capabilities.
We also provide an intelligent gateway for the distribution of IODE flight plan information. The IODE gateway application extends the number of available IODE interfaces from COOPANS. The gateway offers up to 16 simultaneous client connections.
Advanced radar display and airport information management
RADIS is a sophisticated radar display for use by air traffic control at tower and approach positions.
RADIS is highly flexible and can be configured to operate on a diverse range of radar data sources, including the well-established ASTERIX protocols, Thales A500, VDL Mode 4, NMEA, SBS and various GPS-protocols.
RADIS incorporates facilities for integrated recording and replay, and is fully integrated with the AIMS Airport Information Management System.
AIMS is an easy-to-use flight plan management, meteorological display and strip printing system. It is a complete AFTN management system and a fully featured AFTN switch for use in larger airports or similar environments.
AIMS offers aeronautical fixed telecommunication management (AFTM) and a flight plan editor for creation, delay, and changes online, using an existing flight plan or user-created templates.
