ALSTEF has been awarded a contract for the maintenance of the baggage sorting system at terminal one of Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) by Aéroports de Paris (ADP).

Forty airlines operate from this historical airport, where 30,000 bags are processed each day. In order for the baggage system to meet this requirement, ALSTEF has a dedicated team of engineers, maintenance technicians and operators, with 24/7 assistance provided by PLC and IT engineers based at the company’s head office.

This organisation is one of the significant advantages that allowed ALSTEF to win this contract. ALSTEF also stood out from its competitors with its integrated management system that complies with the ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards, and the commitments undertaken with regards to quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.

This six-year contract, based on a performance commitment, confirms ALSTEF’s position as a major player in the maintenance of baggage sorting systems. ALSTEF already has teams based at other terminals of Paris-CDG for the maintenance of their baggage sorting systems, as well as in many other airports in France and other countries.
