Si ATM received the purchase order in May 2011, to implement the ultimate fallback system (UFS) to be a part of the total ATM system for Hong Kong.
The UFS encompasses a surveillance data processing system including multi-sensor tracking functions for radar and ADS-B, a full set of safety nets, and a large number of controller working positions. The human-machine-interface will resemble the main system’s displays in order to facilitate controller interactions.
The UFS system will be delivered during 2013.
