Swedish company Lifts All Airport Handling Solutions, based in Stockholm, has been awarded an order of 40 Container Loading Systems to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. We call the CLS "the missing link" says Sofie Nyberg, managing director at Lifts All Airport Handling Solutions.

With the CLS bags are moved from a moving carousel or a lateral onto a roller deck table and then easily pushed off into the baggage container.

It’s fast, easy and instinctive to use and most and for all it’s a product that has been developed based on the baggage handler’s ideas and wishes, says Sofie Nyberg.

Training programme included
Baggage handlers all over the world are lifting 10-25 metric tons per day, sometimes even more.

It is essential that they get lifting aids that they like and that they feel can be a good aid in their work. Therefore we will deliver a training programme along with the full systems.

Long-term investment pays off
Initially the system was developed together with baggage handlers at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Heathrow and Schiphol have also played an important part in the later development.

We have made a long term investment in the airport market despite the difficult economic climate and we’re seeing a great return on our investment, says Svante Wibom, CEO at Lifts All Airport Handling Solutions.
