Future Fibre Technologies (FFT), the world leader in fibre-optic intrusion detection, has been awarded another large perimeter intrusion detection project, in conjunction with one of its key global system integrators.
Utilising the FFT Secure Fence&trade system, this Middle East installation will protect a perimeter fence in excess of 250km long and builds on FFT’s impressive successes and experience in securing the perimeters of large infrastructure projects.
The government client recognised the advantages of the FFT Secure Fence system including its ease of installation, its ability to operate in the harshest desert conditions, the flexibility of its overall design, its local technical support capability and FFT’s global experience, in choosing the company to protect this highly sensitive, remote site.
FFT has been active in the Middle East with many projects in recent years including the highly successful deployment of perimeter intrusion detection systems for several seaports and for a large number of liquefied natural gas and petrochemical plants.
FFT’s Dubai office provides technical training and product demonstrations for the region along with local sales and technical support staff.
