It has been announced that Rockwell Collins’ ARINC VeriPax passenger reconciliation system has been selected for implementation in 13 Mexican airports by Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte (OMA).

Passengers travelling from Acapulco, Chihuahua, Culiacan, Durango, Cuidad Juarez, Reynosa and more, after August 2017, will be able to enjoy enhanced and streamlined passenger check-in and security processes with the ARINC VeriPax installation.

Paul Hickox, head of Airport Systems Sales for Rockwell Collins said, ‘Airports today are faced with managing demanding security requirements while balancing operational needs to efficiently process passengers. ARINC VeriPax helps airports accomplish this by strengthening security while reducing the lines at security. The solution provides OMA with a wealth of data for improving its passengers’ experience and airport operations.’

Automation of key airport passenger reconciliation processes provides airport operators with the opportunity to maintain core security and meet mandatory requirements, while simultaneously giving passengers a better airport experience.

ARINC VeriPax decreases the time needed to screen passengers using automated security screening capabilities. Using 2D barcode scanners, ARINC VeriPax reads boarding passes and determines flight and passenger status, clearance and analysis that can allow greater resource management throughout the airport.
