Other conveniences include noise cancelling audio for high-fidelity sound, USB ports for personal device connection and in-seat power for laptops, tablets and more.

The seat configuration is of 494 in total and is subdivided in 8 First class, 66 Business class and 420 Economy class seats. Guests in each cabin will enjoy the widescreen display screens that range from 23in in First class, 17in in Business class, and 10.6in in Economy class.

"The A380 is our new flagship aircraft and we are pleased to be working closely with Thales on this exceptional programme, which complements our latest products and services offering to guests," said Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, Group Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Airlines.

"Malaysia Airlines is a very special airline that has an excellent vision for its cabin services. I am confident that their passengers will enjoy the many system features that the Top Series system offers and look forward to supporting their fleet for years to come," said Alan Pellegrini, Chief Executive Officer for the Thales In-flight Entertainment and Connectivity business.
