At this year’s air traffic control conference (ATC Global) in Amsterdam, the Swiss system supplier for the aviation community, SkySoft-ATM and the German air navigation service provider, DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung will present their newly developed air traffic management system, SkyManager.

The SkyManager is designed to fulfil the operational air traffic control requirements at area control centres as well as at approach and tower facilities. Due to its modular structure, the different components of surveillance and communication technology, including datalink as well as record and replay functions can be easily adapted to different requirements.

Sales and marketing manager at SkySoft, Claude Levacher said: “SkySoft and DFS have added their most powerful individual solutions to the system, which have proven themselves in operation worldwide over many years. These modules have been developed continuously in close cooperation with air traffic controllers (ATCOs). By combining our expertise, we have been able to create a fully integrated and flexible air traffic management system that fits the needs of ATCOs anywhere.”

Visitors at the ATC Global will be able to explore the SkyManager with its controller working position and all functionalities at stand H208, hall 11.
