Jewers Doors will exhibit its range of Esavian aircraft hangar doors in booth 4842 at MRO Americas in Atlanta, US.

Jewers Doors has exhibited at the annual event, the largest MRO show in the world, for many years. Organised by Aviation Week and this year taking place at the Georgia World Congress Centre in Atlanta, it is expected to attract in excess of 15,000 attendees.

Talking about the show, Jonathan Jewers, director, says: “MRO Americas attract visitors from across the globe and is an excellent opportunity for us to explain face-to-face why our Esavian hangar doors are world class. We discuss directly with visitors their requirements for airside doors which we then design, manufacture and install in any location.”

A conference runs alongside the exhibition with an impressive list of more than 100 keynote speakers, there is a Military Aviation Logistics & Maintenance Symposium and, on the Monday before the show opens, a shot-gun golf tournament at the nearby Hamilton Mill Golf club.

As well as its headquarters in the UK, Jewers Doors Limited has a branch in Dubai, UAE, and a North America HQ in North Carolina. It has completed more than 1,000 projects around the world and Jewers Doors has designed and built more hangar doors for B747/A380 hangars than any other company.

Jewers Doors was one of the first companies to introduce contoured hangar doors, which achieve an environmental seal around an aircraft’s fuselage for maintenance and off-loading cargo. The doors can be designed to suit any aircraft type, either nose-in or tail-in to a hangar. This new development in hangar door technology has allowed operators to increase productivity significantly.

Jewers Doors will exhibit in booth 4842 at MRO Americas in Atlanta on 9-11 April.
