A viable alternative to legacy systems

“IBS has built and successfully delivered a number of next generation solutions for mission-critical business functions in the TTL industry, earning the trust of customers world over,” said Akshay Shrivastava, senior VP and global head of cargo line of business for IBS. “This award is the recognition of our success in providing the air cargo industry with a viable alternative to legacy systems, and in introducing a new paradigm in IT solutions for business problems that plague the industry. The award underscores our outstanding track record of delivering value to our customers, and the professionalism and commitment of our people. I am proud to receive the award on behalf of everyone at IBS who contributed to this achievement.”

IBS’ cargo management solution was developed four years ago in collaboration with six world leading airlines. Over 20 global cargo carriers, from industry leaders to start-ups, have contracted the solution since then. IBS has the single largest tech-functional team dedicated to serving the air cargo industry anywhere in the world.

“The award is an endorsement of the successes that this team has had in meeting the needs of a large spectrum of customers,” Shrivastava added. “It is also recognition of IBS’ active involvement in industry initiatives and collaboration with industry bodies such as IATA, TIACT and Cargo 2000.”
