On 18 December 2008, INFORM and ISEC signed the cooperation agreement by which GroundStar Asia was born as the materialisation of the teamwork and joint strengths of ISEC and INFORM.

With headquarters in Bangkok and operations throughout Asia, ISEC is a group of dedicated consultants with ample experience in the aviation and IT industries. ISEC has traditionally focused on helping to step up and streamline their clients’ businesses by providing total solutions, including corporate turnaround, enterprise system service, IT hosting and system integration services. Their approach is based on the design and implementation of solutions tailored to each client’s business requirements, current situation, goals and timelines. A proprietary suite of IT systems supports the consulting and management services carried out by ISEC.

INFORM is a team of raised-in-industry ICT professionals who research, develop and deliver cutting-edge software solutions that improve airport and ground handling logistics, and who also provide consultancy services. INFORM’s flagship suite of products, GroundStar, is used by over 50 organisations in more than 200 airports worldwide.
GroundStar Asia combines the proven capabilities of INFORM’s GroundStar system with ISEC’s established local expertise and know-how.

Thai Airports Ground Services (TAGS) has naturally become GroundStar Asia’s first customer.
