Zvartnots International Airport in Armenia has opened its newly built $320m terminal to the public.

The new terminal will help the airport increase its passenger handling capacity to 3.5 million, up from 1.1 million in 2010.

The Corporacion America group of Eduardo Eurnekian signed a 30-year management deal in 2002 to manage the facility and was responsible for the construction of the new airport terminal and modernising other airports.
