Muscat International Airport in Oman is to install 39 people-mover systems, called Autowalks, for the redevelopment of its passenger terminal.

Finland-based KONE won the contract to supply 39 autowalks, 122 lifts and 60 escalators at Muscat’s new passenger terminal.

Kone’s Autowalks will enhance the flow of people and goods into and through the airport, according to main.omanobserver.om.

The systems are designed to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of up to 12 million passengers per year.
