Gazpromneft-Aero has commenced refuelling services for Aeroflot's flights at Malta International Airport, expanding its geographic presence to 170 airports.

The company's international network has increased by eight since the beginning of the year.

Gazpromneft-Aero's CEO Vladimir Egorov said: “We have achieved significant success in developing partnerships with major Russian and international air carriers, and in collaborating with local market leaders in aviation refuelling.

"Expanding the business geographically is a priority for Gazpromneft-Aero’s long-term strategy, in accordance with which the company plans to increase its refuelling network to 262 airports throughout Russia and abroad by 2025.”

National aviation fuel supplier in Malta Enemed will serve as Gazpromneft-Aero’s refuelling partner and supply of fuel to Aeroflot will be carried under a long-term agreement. 

Collaboration with companies such as Enemed enables Gazpromneft-Aero to offer optimum prices for fuel, as well as quick refuelling services in over 60 countries. Gazpromneft-Aero supplies fuel to airlines flying to tourist destinations, including Spain, Turkey, the UAE, France, and Malta. Its operations at international airports are undertaken in partnership with local aviation fuel suppliers.
