Deals this week: EgyptAir, CPB Contractors, Bechtel


EgyptAir Holding Company has extended its code-share agreement with Aegean Airlines SA, an air transportation services provider based in Greece, to increase access to the combined networks of both airlines.

The deal will enhance EgyptAir’s reach in Europe.

CIMIC Group's construction company CPB Contractors has received a contract worth $400m to construct a new runway at Brisbane Airport in Australia.

CPB and Australian firm BMD Constructions will establish a joint venture to build a 3.3km main runway and a 12km taxiway system, as part of the contract.

Burns & McDonnell and architectural design firms from Kansas City, Missouri, US, have partnered to design and develop a new terminal at Kansas City International Airport (KCI).

The Kansas City is expected to finalise the design of the new terminal by next month.
