Airlines for America (A4A), an industry trade organisation for US airlines, has launched a new interactive data dashboard to provide flight operation information across the country.

Developed in partnership with Global Eagle Entertainment (GEE), the new dashboard is designed to display the current operation status of 30 US airports to passengers.

Using GEE’s aviation data analytics capabilities, the dashboard features scroll-over maps, real-time flight departures, completions, cancellations, on-time performance, and weather conditions at the national and local airport level.

The solution, which includes current analysis tools for all US flight operations, also provides a detailed and 30-day analysis of completed and cancelled flights.    

The dashboard aims to help industry partners who require aggregated on-time performance data based on current weather patterns.
