Passenger traffic at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) increased by 19.7% to 2.6 million in January 2010, compared with 2.17 million in 2009, according to Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB).
KLIA's international passenger traffic increased by 26.4% and domestic traffic rose by 6.6% compared with the previous year.
KLIA's aircraft traffic increased 7.3% to 19,968 aircraft movements, whereas traffic at other airports in Malaysia rose 10.8% to 27,583.
MAHB's other airports experienced a total 8.6% increase in passenger volumes to 1.76 million in January 2010.
