Following an expansion project, Terminal 1 at Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) in the Philippines is expected to become operational in April 2010.
According to Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) president and CEO Victor Jose Luciano, construction of the P308m (US$6m) DMIA Terminal 1 is on track.
Currently two aerobridges are being installed at the Clark Civil Aviation Complex, which arrived on 4 March 2009.
The new two-storey terminal will feature two aerobridges, flight information displays, close circuit television, X-ray machines, escalators and elevators.
It will provide a bigger space for commercial concessionaires and a larger lounge for passengers.
The expanded terminal will accommodate an additional 500,000 passengers each year.
