Auckland Airport in New Zealand has won the Airport of the Year award in the 2010 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Aerospace & Defence Awards held in Singapore.
The airport has also recently been named as one of the ten best airports in the world in the 2009 Skytrax awards. In addition, it won the best airport in the Australia Pacific region in the 2009 World Travel Awards.
Auckland Airport handles 15 million passengers annually.
