Passenger Traffic Declines by 14% at Dublin Airport

Dublin Airport in Ireland experienced a drop in passenger traffic by 14% in October 2009 compared to the same month in 2008.

Passenger volumes to and from all regions including Europe, the UK and transatlantic fell by 14% each.

International passenger traffic, particularly flights to the Middle East, dropped by 4% in comparison to 2008.

The airport's year-to-date figures reveal that over 17 million passengers were recorded, a 13% decline in comparison to the same period in 2008.
