Passenger Traffic Falls at European Airports

According to a report by the Airports Council International (ACI), European airports experienced a 7.7% drop in passenger traffic and a 19.8% drop in air cargo this year from January to September.

A major decline in passenger volumes was seen across airports in Spain, Ireland, Britain, Lithuania and Estonia.

A traffic forecast by ACI also reveals that passenger numbers are expected to fall by 7% throughout the whole year with cargo falling by 15%.
