Tibetan Airport Upgraded for Night Flights

Tibet's Lhasa airport has been upgraded to allow it to handle night flights.

According to state news agency Xinhua, Gongga Airport has been fitted with runway lighting that increases its handling capacity by 40%.

The airport handled over one million passengers last year.
