Hong Kong Airport to Issue Islamic Bonds

The Hong Kong Airport Authority has announced plans to become the territory's first company to issue Islamic bonds.

Chief Executive Stanley Hui says the firm is "actively looking" to issue the bond in the third quarter, Reuters reports.

The issuance could end up raising as much as US$1bn.
