EU Gives Poland Aid for Airports

The European Commission has approved funding to help build a new airport in eastern Poland near the towns of Lublin and Swidnik.

The €298.6m grant will also support an upgrade of existing facilities at Gdansk Airport.

Polish central and regional as well as EU regional development funds will be used in the developments.
