Spanish airport owner Ferrovial is considering selling George Best Belfast City Airport, the airport's chief executive says.
Brian Ambrose says the process of deciding whether to sell or not could take months.
He gave a personal opinion that the airport is worth around £150m.
The airport is not part of Ferrovial's subsidiary BAA, which owns London's Heathrow.
Earlier this month, Ferrovial announced the sale of airport retail chain World Duty Free.
The company is seeking to ease huge financial debts, which stood at €29.2bn at the end of March, compared to the firm's market capitalisation of €7.1bn, Reuters says.
