Video compression company ATEME and display specialist Barco, have launched a partnership to deliver end-to-end H.264-based video security solutions.
The companies say the combination of video security products offers customers a complete H.264-based solution, addressing mission-critical video security requirements.
SVC-2, Barco's second-generation integrated streaming video card, is designed to provide simultaneous processing of large amounts of streaming video signals in real time with minimal latency.
It is used in control room setups to visualise information streams from multiple suppliers as well as multiple compression technologies.
ATEME provides a broad range of video security solutions for highways, airports, public transportation systems and urban areas.
