Passenger traffic at Singapore's Changi International Airport rose to 3.86 million in August 2011, an increase of 11.2% on the corresponding period in 2010.
So far in 2011, passenger movements rose 11.2% year-on-year to 30.4 million.
Freight movement from the airport dropped by 0.9% to 153,000t during August; for the year to date, the airport has handled 1.22 million tonnes of cargo, a 2.5% increase compared with the same period last year.
Changi's aircraft movements for August stood at 25,700, an increase of 14.9%.
