The Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) has launched a pilot project to improve air traffic management between Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok and Changi International Airport in Singapore.
CANSO will implement collaborative decision making (CDM), which improves the exchange of information between all aviation stakeholders involved in flight operations at the two airports.
The project will provide the required information for enhancing gate-to-gate operations, eventually optimising kerb-to-kerb operations, according to Air Traffic Management.
The data collected from the project is expected to contribute to the development of CDM implementation best practice for other city pairs in the Asia-Pacific region.
