The Manchester Airports Group (MAG) has raised £300m ($395m) through the issuance of bonds in capital markets.

The 22-year bonds bear a coupon rate of 2.875% a year.

The proceeds will be used for the transformational capital investment programmes at Manchester and London Stansted airports.

“Passengers will also have the option to access Oman Air-operated flights to a network of more than 30 destinations served by Oman Air from Muscat.”

Oman Air has entered a code-share partnership with UK-based air transportation services provider Flybe Group Plc to launch new through fares.

The deal will allow Oman Air to offer through fares to regional airports from London Heathrow and Manchester Airport.

Passengers will also have the option to access Oman Air-operated flights to a network of more than 30 destinations served by Oman Air from Muscat.
