LEONI develops and produces sophisticated technical products, from single-core vehicle wiring up to complex on-board power supply systems. Moreover, the range of services includes wires and braid, standardised and special cables plus fully assembled systems for applications in various industrial markets.

The traffic / airport business unit produces, under the brand name BETAjet®, 400Hz ground power cables for mobile and static applications for the external power supply for aircraft on the ground. The BETAlux brand also includes 5kV airfield lighting primary cables and feeder cables for interconnecting transformers in airfield lighting.
