Since the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York on 11 September 2001, the way we travel abroad has changed dramatically. Increased security checks and limitations on what we can take on board, not to mention the fear that next time you might be on the plane.

With this in mind the US Department of Homeland Security published this white paper to assess how the US can maintain its status as a worldwide travel destination and a beacon of international freedom.

This report looks into how international travel has changed and what needs to be done to ensure terrorists never strike the US again.
