Dr Wilhelm Bender has served as Fraport AG's chairman of the executive board since January 1993, leading Fraport to financial success during a period of expansion. He studied law and economic sciences and holds a doctorate in law from the University of Giessen, Germany. He also sits on the governing board of the Airports Council International (ACI).
