Doug Johnson

Doug Johnson, head of the Met Office's transport programme, has worked for the organisation for 37 years. For over 20 of those years his work has been associated with aviation meteorology, from being a forecaster at Stansted Airport in the 1970s to head of cloud physics research. Johnson now has responsibility for all Met Office services for aviation, including the WAFC, VAAC and aerodrome forecasts.
