London Southend Airport have awarded a contract for the relocation and supply of ILS equipment to Systems Interface.
As part of the continued development of London Southend Airport, the existing ILS system on Runway 24 is to be relocated and a new ILS antenna to be purchased.
A spokesman for London Southend Airport said: “The upgrading of these facilities is seen as a positive step for the long term future of the Southend Airport and its employees and also for the local businesses which are based at the airport. We have chosen Systems Interface because of their good reputation and we look forward to working with them on this project”.
This contract is part of a continuing success story for Systems Interface worldwide, which includes the supply and installation of ILSs, DVORs, NDBs, PAPIs, DMEs and fibre optic networks with many of the contracts being complete Turnkey solutions.
