Systems Interface Awarded Contract for Navigational Aids, Meteorological and Communications Equipment For Al Rasheed Airport, Iraq

Systems Interface Limited has been awarded a contract to supply equipment to Al Rasheed Airport which is a commercial privately funded airport.
The equipment will be installed and commissioned by local contractors and it has the full support of the U.S. Government. The equipment selected by the Customer, Aircraft Portfolio Management (APM), is the Selex 1150 Doppler VOR and 1118A DME system, Almos Systems BV Meteorological equipment and Kenwood UHF Radios.
Rasheed Airport is located approximately 11 kilometres Southeast of downtown Baghdad. The airbase is served by an 8,300 foot long runway.
