Systems Interface Limited have been selected by Belfast City Airport to provide the upgrading of its ATC facilities. This important contract marks the first joint venture with leading Austrian Voice Switch Communications company Frequentis GmbH. Both companies have good reputations for delivering high quality product and services on time and in budget.
This contract includes the upgrading of the ATC tower systems and the approach radar suite. Systems Interface will provide the turnkey project management, installation, and commissioning which includes the ergonomic design for the replacement control desks, Jotron Transmitters and Receivers, the Ricochet Voice Recorder and the latest Frequentis 3025 Voice switch and RESQ emergency Voice Switch. Systems Interface are approved providers for the all the products and have provided their services on previous UK projects.
The project is planned to go live in May 2005.
Systems Interface Limited's most recent delivery was the commissioning, in the summer of this year, of instrument landing projects to three UK airports, which included all the flight calibrations over a period of one week, performed by the leading UK provider Flight Precision.

2004 has continued to be successful for Systems Interface, both in terms of contracts signed and delivered worldwide. This has included a major contract for Mobile NDB Equipment for the Military Authority in Egypt.
