SELEX Elsag for E-NET Programme

SELEX ELSAG has been selected to deploy a nationwide backbone infrastructure for ENAV that provides supporting safety-critical services such as radar data, ATN/CPDLC and voice communications with their own quality of service (QoS) in terms of service availability, latency and jitter figures.

This backbone is composed by fully redunded ATM nodes in a partial meshed network architecture, providing IP access for data services and voice over ATM (VoATM) services.

Each radio resource is now addressed and potentially reachable by all VCS in the ENAV domain. This provides an infrastructure that will migrate to VoIP.

SELEX ELSAG also provides the IP and VoATM access to legacy ground stations and integrates this capability in its new OTE MGS100 product.
