The board of LongReach Group Limited today announced that C4i Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the LongReach Group, has been awarded contracts with Ramco Dubai for the supply of an emergency response and control system for Abu Dhabi International Airport. This order coincides with AU$300k of new radio interface unit and service orders in the month of January, bringing total new orders over AU$1m for the month.
C4i secured a deal for the design and delivery of its Generation III Alarmon product for the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The airport is undergoing a major expansion to make it a major hub in the Middle East region. This is the second Alarmon product in the Middle East and the first Generation III Alarmon system.
The system will provide the emergency services at this major airport with integrated communications and alarm monitoring and control for the airport and its associated vehicles and buildings.
"C4i sees this contract as a major reference point not only for the Middle East but also in the public safety and emergency control and response markets. C4i is confident its Generation III product is well suited to these mission critical applications." said Peter Harrison, General Manager of C4i Pty Ltd.
C4i has also successfully secured a number of service contracts in Australia and Radio Interface Unit (RIU) sales to US based customers. The RIU represents a distinct Generation III product line that was developed specifically for accessing remote radio equipment through an IP network.
This news comes as C4i successfully completes the installation and commissioning of its Generation III system for the Royal Australian Air Force Regional Operations Command Centre. This major installation provides communications for aircraft over Australia. this is the ninth red/black system delivered, with previous customers in NATO and USAF.
