Twisted Pair and C4i Team to Set New Benchmark in Mobile Unified Communications

Twisted Pair Solutions, a pioneer in Unified Interoperable Communications (UIC) software built to open standards, today announced that its WAVE™ technology is now available as an integral capability with the innovative Radio Interface Unit (RIU) solution from C4i Communications Systems.
The combination of C4i's powerful, yet compact radio gateway and WAVE communications proven software technology results in a uniquely capable solution that is ideally suited to defense and public safety deployments where size, weight and energy considerations are important, such as in mobile communications vehicles and emergency fly-away kits. Together the companies will help organizations across the globe better prepare for rapid, light weight mobile response.

The RIU is a small, rugged radio gateway designed for harsh environments that enables connection of up to four radios to an IP network.
