Precision Applications is proud to announce that it has been chosen to supply and install a new voice and radar recording system for the ATC Communications System Project at London Oxford Airport.

The new system fully complies with the latest ICAO SARPS and the proposed UK CAA CAP 670 regulations for recording surveillance data and will record audio and through-the-wall radar, with an option to add at-the-glass radar at a later date.

The system comprises fully redundant Veristore 48 channel voice recorders, four channel radar recorders and a central management system (CMS), which enables the recorders to be monitored and set up and data to be replayed, from a single central location. In addition, the CMS provides the option of remote access for maintenance purposes.

Precision applications have successfully completed the installation of similar systems at six major airports within the UK during the last twelve months and the Safety Regulation Group of the UK CAA have confirmed that they comply with Regulation (EC) No.552/2004 and the standards contained in Annex 11 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
